Member: $5 Registration Fee (one class per week) Additional membership fees may apply, please see Program Desk or Sales for information.
-If member would like to take a second class, they must register with the General Public at the General Public Rate.
General Public: $110 ($10 registration fee) one class per week
*Member rates apply only to active family or couple (adult plus child) memberships. *Refunds will not be given at any time for programs cancelled by participants. Credits will be given with a doctor’s note. Any cancellations after the start of the session will not receive a refund or credit.
ATTIRE / EQUIPMENT:
Kid Fit: All participants must wear shorts, t-shirt or sweat pants. All children must have sneakers. Absolutely no jeans or clothing with buttons, zippers, or beading is permitted. There is no jewelry permitted. Hair must be tied back and securely fastened with an elastic rubber band, no clips or bows that will inhibit any rolling activities. Boxing: For ages 10 and below, attire is comfortable; wraps are unnecessary and discouraged for younger children. For children ages 11 + that use wraps, instructions will be provided the first few classes and after that, kids will be expected to be wrapped and ready at the start of class.
PARENT RESPONSIBILITY:
An adult can escort all children to the studio. No one is permitted in the studio prior to class time. Any child originally from the kids club will be taken back after class, all others must be picked up promptly after class by a parent.
ATTENDANCE POLICY:
If your child misses two classes without notification, they will be dropped from the class. Please call the program desk for any absentees. 215-968-0600 ext 112.
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This program will enrich your child with all aspects of fitness, but the emphasis is on FUN! The sessions will incorporate strength building, cardiovascular training, and stretching. Our goal is to make a positive impact by promoting a healthy life-style for your child, while paving the way for their future in both mind and body.
Tough Tiny Tots:
This class is a lot of fun while the children use their imagination to work out. One day they may be a boogie boarder at the beach and the next they may be hunters running through the jungle. They will use fun, colorful props including; bouncy balls, hula hoops, bean bags, streamers and more! This class will help develop confidence, social skills, hand eye coordination, strength, flexibility, motor skills, and more!
Fun Fitness:
This class will include a variety of activities to enhance strength and cardiovascular fitness. Kids will participate in games, obstacle courses, relay races, sports drills and more. This is a non-competitive environment where social skills and confidence will be enhanced.
Fun Fitness and Bags:
This workout includes similar activities as fun fitness, but also includes the use of kick bags! The kids will learn the moves and names of kickboxing combinations. The focus is on FUN! Kids will develop focus, coordination, footwork, muscle tone, cardio and self-esteem.
Super Spinning:
This spinning class will be a combination of workouts including spinning, cardio fitness, and strength training aimed for kids. This class will get your son/daughter excited about fitness and learning to live a healthy lifestyle. Spinning is a great way to raise your child’s energy level as well as their self esteem. Inseam must measure 28”, in order to take this class.
Fun Fitness & Sports:
Kids will participate in a motivational warm-up activity followed by the sport of the week and finally a cool-down. Some of the sports included in the class are pickle ball, castle ball, volleyball, kickball, soccer, games, relay races, sports drills and more. This is an environment where social skills and confidence will be enhanced. This class will include a variety of activities to enhance strength and cardiovascular fitness.
Family KidFit Classes:
These classes are for both parent and child participation and are designed to bond and workout together while having fun, that is FUN FITNESS. A Parent or Guardian must attend with child for any of these classes.
Kids Boxing:
Basic boxing techniques and activities incorporated into an intense workout-designed to burn calories and build endurance while increasing strength, agility, speed and self-confidence. General class structure: approximately 10 minute warm-up including jump rope and shadow boxing; approximately 40 minutes of intense training include rotations using heavy bag, pad work, etc. 10 minutes of calisthenics including jumping jacks, push ups and abdominal work. No boxing experience necessary.
