The Boxing Program at the NAC is under the expert direction of Terrance Cauthen who gives both private and group lessons. Private and group training with Terrance is available, as well as with other boxing coaches, including Brandon English. COST:
Member: FREE ($5 Registration Fee)
Private and semi-private lessons are avalibale
Private half hour $35 one hour $60
Semi Private: one hour 2 people $40
Boxing Wraps are available at $6 a pair

Member rates apply only to active family or couple (adult plus child) memberships. *Refunds will not be given at any time for programs canceled by participants. Credits will be given with a doctor’s note. Any cancellations after the start of the session will not receive a refund or credit.

ATTIRE / EQUIPMENT
All participants must wear t-shirts, shorts or sweat pants. All boxers must have sneakers. All boxers must have wraps as well, which we will provide for a fee. (See the program desk to purchase them.)

PARENT RESPONSIBILITY
An adult must escort all children to the boxing studio. No one is permitted in the boxing ring prior to class time. All children must be dropped off to class by an adult and then picked up once class is over. Instructors will not be picking up in the kids club, or dropping off.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
If your child misses two classes in a row without notification, they will be dropped from the class. Please call the program desk for any absentees. 215-968-0600 ex 12

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Boxing (Adults)
Instructor: TERRANCE
This class is an “Olympic Workout”. The class will focus on cardio, defense techniques, and the proper way to box. It will also focus on confidence, and self discipline. The adults will also get the chance to spar as well as recommended by the instructor.

Boxing (Adults)
Instructors: ERIC and RON
This class is a beginner’s boxing class that will focus on basic pad work, combination movement and cardio work out. Class is designed to challenge your muscles as well as teach boxing techniques and form. The class will incorporate the heavy bag and improve speed and agility.

Novice All-Women’s Boxing Class:
Instructor: ERIC
This class will teach you several defensive movements including parrying, ducking, and slipping. This class is designed to help footwork, speed and agility as well as increase upper body strength and help over-all toning. Feel comfortable working out with other novice women boxers.

Children’s Boxing Classes (ages 7-16)
Instructor: TERRANCE
This class will teach children the basics of boxing. The class will help improve their footwork, speed and agility. Children will gain confidence in themselves while getting a great full-body workout.

Children’s Boxing Classes (ages 4-6 year olds)
Instructor: ERIC
