Adult Ballet: This
class is for those adult students who have little or no dance experience. You
will learn the basic ballet positions and movements from barre to floor work.
This class will not only improve your flexibility and posture, it will also
tone your body.
Adult Jazz: This dance class will concentrate on the classical
elements and technique of ballet to add the finishing forms and skills needed
to perform jazz floor exercise routines.
Adult Tap: A dance form based on rhythmic combinations and
sounds made with the feet. Tap shoes required.
Belly Dancing: This class is a full body workout that incorporates
both strength and flexibility along with beautiful flowing movements. The class
consists of core isolation drills, basic dance movements, and easy to follow
choreography patterns that will have you dancing in no time.
Salsa Dancing: This
class will teach the basic lead and follow patterns in Salsa as well as some
history of the style. No partner is required to participate. Class is progressive,
so it is best to start within the first two weeks of the session. Leather soled
shoes with heels and straps for women are recommended. For men, a leather soled
shoe is appropriate. Comfortable clothing that breathes is best. Benefits of
salsa dancing are: increased energy, balance, core strength and just plain fun!
